The letter by Sandra Coan, “Consider impact of Exxon plant on quality of life,” was very well done and in my opinion on the mark.
Having lived on the southeast side of Houston for 63 years I am well aware of the dangers and impact refineries have on the quality of life. When we retired and moved to Corpus Christi 14 years ago I was very impressed with the air quality in the Coastal Bend area. There was a big difference from living near refineries in Houston and clean air in Corpus Christi.
