The Environmental Integrity Project is challenging the air permit TCEQ is prepared to give to Exxon/SABIC. The first step is a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept. 6 at the Nueces County Courthouse. This is the first stage of what will be a six month long process. But EIP needs experts to demonstrate the real impacts to our air quality and counter the self-serving data that Exxon provided, much of which Exxon withheld from public scrutiny until now.
