In addition to requesting a Public Meeting with the TCEQ regarding the GCGV (Exxon/SABIC) Air Permit, we also requested a Public Meeting over the Water Quality permit.
Now is your chance to submit Public Comment to the TCEQ regarding GCGV’s Air Quality and Water Quality Permit Applications. We encourage ALL residents with concerns about this project to use this opportunity to submit a request for a Public Meeting in Portland, Texas. You must be specific with your request for a Public Meeting IN Portland, Texas. There are many issues to be addressed and questions to be answered by both GCGV and the TCEQ and they should be done locally–NOT IN AUSTIN.
Submitting a Public Comment to the TCEQ is very easy and should take no longer than 5-10 minutes of your time. Visit http://www14.tceq.texas.gov/epic/eComment/. Once there you can enter the TCEQ permit number associated with the GCGV permit application and click “Next”.
The GCGV Air Quality permit number is 146425 and the Water Quality permit number is WQ0005228000. We urge residents to submit Public Comment and request a Public Meeting in Portland, Texas for each permit.
