BREAKING: Sierra Club and Texas Campaign for the Environment Have “Standing” in Contested Case Hearing

At today’s preliminary hearing before an administrative law judge, the Sierra Club AND Texas Campaign for the Environment have both been found to have standing in the contested case hearing challenging the issuance of Exxon/SABIC air permits. Local members of both groups attended this morning’s preliminary hearing at the Nueces County Courthouse.

The contested case hearing challenging Exxon/SABIC air permits will now move forward in a process that could take 6 to 10 months.
